Designing Gareth Cosgrove Photography Logo: Insights & Inspiration

Just thought Id jump on here and tell you a bit about the Gareth Cosgrove Photography logo.

Before venturing into photography, I worked as a Graphic Designer. I graduated from Ulster University in Belfast with a 2:1 degree in Visual Communication. From a young age, I had a passion for art and design, and during my final year at art college, I specialized in Photography. My interest in photography grew through developing prints, and I spent countless hours in the darkroom. At that time, digital photography was just beginning to emerge. After leaving art college, I spent over a decade in the Print Industry as a Graphic Designer and Pre Press Operative, where I honed my skills in logo design. Eventually, I left the print industry, did some freelance design work, and decided to pursue photography, which I had always loved. I started taking landscapes of Northern Ireland and progressed into shooting weddings and portraits.

I designed my logo for Gareth Cosgrove Photography using the text as a main basis for the logo and adding a camera icon to the end of the GC.
